This does not necessarily apply to the stage, but most people who have a working talent at acting, can take their skills into or out of the spotlight. This is the ability to fake anger, tears, friendliness, etc. This also covers the ability to deceive others with lies.

Art

This skill covers a characters ability to create works of art through various mediums and methods such as drawing, painting or sculpting.

Dancing

This skill covers the characters ability to dance, be it social or trained.

Gaming

This covers the characters abilities to play games, and play them with some level of skill be they games of strategy games or video games.

Music

This skill covers more 'media-centric' bits of knowledge, mainly about things like bands, celebrities and other forms of today's modern youth culture. Really this is just bits of normally useless trivia, but you never know when it can come in handy!

This skill covers a characters ability to create beautiful articles of clothing or other goods from material, be they high fashion, average wear clothing or costumes. This also covers the reaction of patterns and hand stitching.

This skill covers a characters ability to preform psychical acts that are specific to someone who lives an active life. These are acts such as running, jumping, climbing, catching or throwing.

  • Note: Athletics actions are actions such as running, jumping, climbing, catching or throwing. Athletics and Athletic-related Merits cannot be added to combat/fighting rolls.

Empathy

Related Merits/Flaws: Intuitive

This covers the characters ability to understand, predict and respond to the emotions of others. Furthermore this skill is the one used when a character attempts to recognize lies or attempts at deception.

  • To attempt to read the emotional state of another: Mental+Social+Bonuses
  • To attempt to detect a lie/deception: Mental+Social+Bonuses

Fighting

Governed By: Physical
Related Merits/Flaws: Trained Fighter

This covers a characters ability to throw punches, kicks or simply hang in there during a scuffle. As a general stat, the skill represents an untrained fighting style. To develop this skill into specific style, players must specialize with a Merit.

Flirting

This skill covers a characters ability to lure, attract and command the attentions of others using their looks and charm.

Intimidation

This covers a characters ability to exert their will, through various (normally threatening) means, to get what they want.

Negotiation

Related Merits/Flaws: Grownup Face

This covers a characters ability to use words to sway another person or group toward their opinion using a logical, information based approach. This can also be used by a third party to aid others find common ground. This also can be used to defuse stressful or aggressive situations.

Sneaking

This covers a characters ability to sneak around and hide without being seen.

This skill covers a characters ability to use words and charm to try and sway someones feelings or beliefs to their side. This differs from Negotiation in that Sweet Talking is less logical and information based, and more charm and wit based.
